Barasat Anweshan the fund is provided by the society received the general or specific donations received.  The donors also participate and offer their valuable advices.

Book Distribution:

Every year Barasat Anweshan team has distributed curriculum Books & educational materials to the poor meritorious school students. The Book Distribution Program helps underprivileged children to continue their education, by reducing the financial burden of purchasing books. More than 150 children from rural schools in and around Kolkata have been given notebooks and other stationery through the initiative since 2008. The students were identified by the Volunteers team from the applications received and during the surveys and interactions with the school. The Books were distributed to all the selected students.

Ashirbad (scholarship)

Every year Barasat Anweshan organized a program for the poor & meritorious students from the surrounding areas. The students who passed in the Madhyamik & Higher Secondary Examination with great success but they cannot carry out their higher studies for the monitor problem. We help them by giving Ashirbad /Monitory Help among them.

Cloth Distribution:

Every year at during the festival – Puja, Ed, or Christmas, Barasat Anweshan organizes Cloth Distribution Ceremony for the poor villagers of the area. Our volunteers survey the surrounding areas to identify the needy. This year we distributed 250 pairs of blankets and clothes free of cost. Many poor children came in old and ragged shirts, some having hardly any clothing to wear. They are provided with clothes by Barasat Anweshan. The fund is provided by the society received the general or specific donations received.  The donors also participate and offer their valuable advice.
