Barasat Anweshan believes in bridging the gap between knowledge and habitual ignorance. Targeting the oblivious way of living amongst the not-so-privileged masses and putting a stop to it is the key to the horrific statistics. We are well aware of the fact that this process is not a one day lecture that rectifies the ignorance, but a constant, conscious effort that ought to be imbibed amongst the mentally, physically, emotionally and monetarily disadvantaged fellow Indians

Free Medical Camp

Barasat Anweshan organized quarterly Free Medical Camp for the poor and needy children & helpless villagers with the help of Narayana Hospital Medical Team. The Experts and Specialist Doctors & Pathologist participated in this program. During this Camp they Check up the patients & diagnosis their daises with special cares and give advice & distributed medicines free of cost. The Pathologist tests their blood, grouping of the blood, Sugar level, does the ECG, etc. Besides, doctors educate the common people regarding the importance of regular health check-up for leading a sound life.

Free Eye Testing Camp

Barasat Anweshan organizes quarterly   Free Eye Testing Camps with the help of Narayana Hospital Eye Specialists on regular basis that mainly focuses on eye checkups. Patients suffering from eye problems and discomforts are examined. Apart from the checkups, free medicines and eye care suggestions by the doctors are given to the patients as well. ANWESHAN pays particular attention to the poorest and most vulnerable members of the community in both rural and urban settings. It also helps to conduct power testing of the eyes on the spot and distribute spectacles to the poor people during the eye testing camps at free of cost. Free cataract operations are also conducted for the severe cases; last year witnessed 29 patients restore their eyesight after the camp.

Free Dental Camp

 Once a year, Barasat Anweshan organizes a Dental camp at its main center at Harpara  for the not-so-privileged children. In collaboration with Barasat Hospital , a chain of  dental clinics that offers quality dental solutions,  BARASAT ANWESHAN  offers free of cost dental services to improve dental health of the kids. Post the Dental camps last year, few kids were operated for severe cases of dental problems.

Training To Mother & Childcare

On 19.04.2015 we have conducted a training session on ‘Mother & Child Care’ for the women’s where an extensive training has given to the women’s about the proper Immunization Cycle, how to maintain the immunization card, scheduled polio feeding & proper vaccination. This was held at Beraberia G.P. About more than 240 women were present here.
