Begum Rokeya School For Women Education
Since its inception Barasat Anweshan is making continuous efforts to educate women , as by educating a women it will not only give her sense of independence but by educating a women one educate a whole family. Barasat Anweshan established this centre only for women education those who have comes from helpless and poorest section of our society and have not received any opportunity to go to school for their education . In this centre the drop-out and adult women are being taught by the experienced teachers from class V to X without having any fees. ANWESHAN also provided Books, Pen, Pencils, and Copies among them free of cost. The poor women whose parents were either ignore or could not effort to give them proper education. A change of getting the girl educated has also created a social change. From its inception till now more than one thousand women have joined this program and now they can read and write and also signed their name both in Bengali & English. Of them 42 women successfully passed Madhyamik Examination. After educating them ANWESHAN provided them with vocational training. Now they can established their opinion in problem solving cases of their families and they take the responsibility of their children primary education and some of them stand their own feet & earning money to uplifted their family status.
